Olema RV Resort and Campground. This campground is on 30 wooded acres near the Point Reyes National Park visitor center and the Bear Valley trailhead. There is a nice, easy trail there called the earthquake trail that takes you along the sight of the 1906 earthquake and tells you about the unique geology of the Point Reyes Peninsula. The small towns of Point Reyes Station and Inverness are also close by. We will have use of the clubhouse for the entire weekend. Information about this campground is available at www.olemaranch.com.
Campsites are $31/night for Friday through Sunday. If you come in on Thursday, the cost is $34 for that first night (since that is still September and is considered in season). We have reserved spaces in the Dogwood, Ironwood, Bay and Holly areas of the campground. These campsites are water and electric only. There are full hookup sites closer to the camp store. Prepay your space rental by sending a check with your registration to rally host Connie Mart at Box 613, Forest Knolls CA 94933.
This rally kicks off our 2010–2011 rally season. Our campground is just a hop, skip and jump away from Tijuana to the south and San Diego to the north. A large meeting tent will be set aside for our use for the entire rally.
Join us to walk the paths of Marina Park, watch the shorebirds dine at low tide, enjoy beautiful sunsets and laugh and play. We will catch up on chapter members and chapter news and get ready for the RVW National Convention in Mesa, Arizona, where our chapter will be hosting the first-timers’ breakfast.
Campsites are $37/night. Chula Vista RV Resort is a full-service park with a pool/spa, small store, propane, laundry, showers and restrooms, a picnic area with tables and barbeques, four pet stop areas, 24-hour security and a shuttle that will take you to the Red Trolley Line.

away. Trolleys continuously stop at the campground to provide easy access to
other attractions in and around Eureka Springs. This is a laid-back "do
what you want to do" rally. We will have a clubhouse for cards and
socializing. There are no rally fees.

pre-convention rally. We will have a question and answer period on Tuesday
evening, followed by a meet and greet--bring your own beverage and a snack to
share.
On Wednesday, we are planning a tour
to the Olive Mill located at the base of the San Tan Mountains in Queen Creek.
It is Arizona's only working olive farm and mill. After the tour, we will visit
the gourmet marketplace and sample signature oils, stuffed olives and

We will plan activities for this rally at a meet and greet Friday evening, so plan to arrive earlier in the day. We will have brochures available to help us get acquainted with the area and a car-pool sign up sheet. On Saturday, we will hold our annual meeting and have a dinner hosted by the chapter. We will have a room reserved for our use through Saturday.

Lost Alaskan RV Park. This rally will be a great stopover on your
way to the national RVW convention in Mesa, Arizona. There are many attractions
in this area: Big Bend National Park, Marfa Lights, Fort Davis, McDonald
Observatory, Balmorhea State Park, and more. Alpine has two nice grocery stores
and several gas stations, but be aware that in West Texas the towns, gas
stations and grocery stores can be very far apart--and there is no Walmart out
here.
We will have a meet and greet each evening; bring your own
beverage and a snack to share. Our meet and greet will be followed Thursday
evening by a potluck salad buffet and on Friday evening by a potluck dinner.
Bring your own meal Saturday and enjoy the company. For each dinner, bring your
setup and drink. We will have use of the rally room, but there is no kitchen
facility available.
Campsites are $22/night for 30-amp service; $25/night for 50-amp
service. These rates will be good for two days before and after the rally. To
reserve your campsite, call the Lost Alaskan RV Park at (800) 837-3604. Be sure
to mention that you are attending a rally hosted by the Texas Ramblin' Roses
Chapter of RVing Women. If you must cancel your reservation, please give the
park 48 hours notice. More information about this park is available at
www.lostalaskan.com. The office phone number is (432) 837-1136.
Judy Wisdom and Page Graves are the rally hosts for this event.
After making your reservation with the park, please email Page at
pagegraves@yahoo.com to let her know you are planning to attend.
