November 2010

Fanatasy RV Tours
Exclusive Tour for RVing Women Members
Mexico's Copper Canyon Caravan by RV & First-class Train
November 2-20, 2010 following RVW Convention 2010 in Mesa, Arizona

This is one of the most sought-after destinations in the world for RVers! You will see cave dwellings, historic missions, magnificent views--and more!

F
antasy RV Tour's experienced wagonmasters are waiting to escort you across the border to visit our good friends in Mexico. They will show you through this remarkable and mysterious part of the world, taking you places where not too many have gone before.

Your RV will be parked at a campground while you travel via first-class express train through the magnificent Copper Canyon. Copper Canyon is located in the heart of Mexico's Sierra Madre Mountains and is four times larger than the Grand Canyon. Reader's Digest has named it "the most dramatic train ride on earth."

You will experience an interesting mix of the modern and the ancient living side by side. You will stay in some of the most elegant historic hotels (one right on the rim of the canyon). You will also visit cave dwellings of the Tarahumara Indians, ancient inhabitants of this remote area.

A unique highlight of this trip is an excursion to the floor of the canyon, traveling down more than a mile in elevation where missionaries established missions in the 1600s and silver mining flourished  in the 1800s.

Now pack that sombrero, and don't forget a camera--the scenery is incredible.

Tour dates: November 2-20, 2010, following the RVW Convention in Mesa, Arizona. Tour departs from Amado, Arizona, just 150 miles south of Mesa.

This tour will be exclusive to RVW members and guests.

Activities on Friday will include bocce ball, shuffleboard, billiards and cooling off in the pool. There will be a 5 p.m. happy hour. Bring a snack to share, but make it a light snack so those who wish may go out for dinner. Dixie Crossroads is a favorite restaurant for seafood and barbecue.
